Ear Wax Removal by Micro-Suction / Irrigation
I am a qualified ear care practitioner. Having completed a course with TympaHealth which is accredited by The British Society of Audiology (BSA) and The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA). I also have 3 years experience of ear irrigation working within a GP practice.
Choice Chiropractic uses the Tympa System which enables video recordings and images of your ear canal. Giving you valuable insights into your ear health journey, both before and after treatment, we also utilise ear syringing a technique of removing earwax that involves a flow of warm low pressurised water into the ear canal to flush out the wax.
Additionally, should the need arise, I have the capacity to consult with a dedicated team of audiologists and ENT consultants on a case-by-case basis. This collaborative approach ensures that you receive specialised advice and guidance when it matters most.

To enhance the effectiveness of the wax removal process, we recommend using sterile olive oil purchased from a reputable store (rather than your kitchen) for a minimum of 5 days, twice daily, prior to your scheduled appointment. Employing these drops to soften the wax significantly improves the likelihood of achieving complete removal in a single visit.
